(Huntington, WV)  --  The high number of deer popping up in Huntington is being blamed on a low food source.  The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources says low acorn production is causing deer to come into the city to look for food.  Acorn's are the main food source for the deer and the DNR says acorn production is at its lowest in 43 years.  Also up is accidents involving deer.  Local automotive businesses are seeing more vehicles damage due to accidents involving deer.
