(Washington, DC) -- West Virginia’s state budget is one of several that is not likely to meet revenue targets. A report released this week by the National Conference of State Legislatures says state budgets appear to be stabilizing and budget gaps are rare. However, West Virginia, Alaska, Tennessee and Indiana are probably going to miss the budget targets. The report is based on budget data from the fall of this year.
