Hunters Kill Son Of Cecil The Lion

Two years ago, a dentist from Minnesota sparked international outrage when he shot and killed Cecil the Lion near Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe. Now, trophy hunters have killed Cecil's 6-year-old son named Xanda near the same national park.

According to Fox News,  Richard Cooke, who runs RC Safaris, found Xanda lying dead outside of Hwange National Park. Cooke removed the electronic tracking collar researchers had placed on the lion and returned it. The identities of the hunters who killed the lion have not been released. There is no word on whether the killing of the lion was legal.

After Minnesota dentist Walter James killed Cecil the Lion, many called for his prosecution, but after investigating the death, Zimbabwe authorities found that no crime had been committed.
