Author Stacie Vaughn Hutton was on my show this week talking about the new EPA regulations and how they will hurt WV coal.  Here's note from her publisher...

Generations of families have endured sacrifice and hardship in hopes they may leave a better world for their children and grandchildren. From letters written by coal miners, author Stacie Vaughn Hutton writes a story of hope and inspiration by showing how a young girl copes with her father's job as a coal miner. Illustrated by renowned children's book illustrator, Cheryl Harness, this book will be a family treasure for years to come.

Stacie's most recent book, Shovelful of Sunshine, is a wonderful way for children and adults to learn about the impact of coal.  The book won several awards, including the Mom's Choice Award.

Today I also talked with WV's Attorney General Patrick Morrisey about his role in fighting the EPA on a legal basis.

We also discussed other topics with AG Morrisey including abortion regulation and the sexual assault and cover-up alleged at a Mingo Co. Middle School.
