RIPLEY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Emergency crews frantically worked to pull a person from a burning home early Wednesday morning.
The fire started at a house along Ravenswood Pike in the northern part of Ripley.
Silverton Volunteer Firefighters say an EMS worker was able to get a trapped person out of the home.
No word on if the person was injured.
Officials are working to identify the cause of the fire.
