A West Virginia State Trooper suffered non-life threatening injuries after being shot while responding to a domestic situation.
State Police tell WSAZ the suspect in the shooting is currently in a standoff with authorties at the apartment complex where the shooting happened.
The injured trooper was able to drive himself to the Southridge area of Kanawha County, where he met first responders and was taken to the ambulance. His injuries are not life-threatening.
