PROCTORVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A local grocery store is stocking its shelves with a product it's never sold in its 33 year history.
The Kroger's location in Proctorville is now selling beer and wine.
The store began selling alcohol this week after voters in Proctorville said yes, back in November, to stores being able to sell it.
The store manager says being able to sell alcohol will generate more revenue and possibly create more jobs at the store.
So far, customers seem to like the idea of being able to do all their shopping locally.
Alcohol is only sold Monday through Saturday, no sales are permitted on Sunday.
