Franken tweeted to Minnesota Public Radio saying its report that he plans to resign come Thursday is not accurate. He said no final decision has been made and that he he's still talking with his family. There have been growing calls from fellow Democrats for Franken to step down over accusations of inappropriate behavior with women. Franken has apologized for the encounters, which occurred before he became a senator.
The 66-year-old former professional comedian has represented Minnesota in the Senate since 2009.
