A man who reportedly suffered a rattlesnake bite in the Kanawha State Forest is recovering in the hospital, first responders say.
Rescue crews are working to help a man who says he was bitten by a rattlesnake in the Kanawha State Forest.
They say he's stable at this time.
The incident was reported just after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Loudendale area. Rescuers used a side-by-side ATV to reach the man.
The Loudendale, Davis Creek and Malden volunteer fire departments, along with the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority, responded to the scene.
