CHARLESTON, WV– The local Arby’s Charleston-Huntington, WV Co-op has donated $10,000 to Junior Achievement of the Bluegrass to help support the organization’s mission. A check presentation was held to recognize this significant gift.
With the support of positive adult role models who volunteer their time, Junior Achievement enables students to understand business, citizenship, economics, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, ethics/character, and work readiness. Junior Achievement programs encourage confidence and motivate young people to achieve their personal, educational, and career goals.
As part of the Arby’s Foundation annual Make a Difference Campaign, Arby’s restaurants across the country raised nearly $6M to support national organizations dedicated to providing kids the future they deserve. This year, for the first time ever, half of the funds raised ($2.88M) will be reinvested locally in communities across America.
