George Strait Announces Notre Dame Stadium Show

George Strait has revealed more exciting plans for 2020. The King of Country Music announced on Friday (February 21) his plans to play a show at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana.

The show, dubbed "Strait To South Bend" will take place on Saturday, August 15. Special guests, Chris Stapleton and Brothers Osborne are also expected to perform.

Strait's last official tour was the record-breaking "Cowboy Rides Away Tour" in 2014. Since then, he's performed for limited engagements in various cities including Las Vegas, New Orleans, Austin, Wichita and more.

Just this year, Strait has already performed three sold-out shows. The first was "Visit Wichita Presents Strait to Oz" at Intrust Bank Arena, followed by back-to-back nights of "Strait To The Heartland" at Kansas City's Sprint Center.

In addition to his newly announced Notre Dame Stadium show, Strait also has several Las Vegas dates plotted for August 28-29 at T-Mobile Arena where he'll be joined by special guest, Caitlyn Smith. He also recently announced a concert at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 22. Stapleton will also be joining Strait at that show along with Little Big Town and more.
