Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady's rep denied a report that he wasn't interested in dating actress Sofia Vergara because she's "too old."
“Tom never said, nor would he ever say, anything like this. It is pure fiction,” the rep told PEOPLE on Thursday (July 10).
Brady, 47, and Vergara, 53, were spotted together in Ibiza, Spain, recently, and Page Six reported that the two were having a "summer romance" on Wednesday (July 9). The NFL legend and the Modern Family actress were photographed sitting next to each other on the Luminara superyacht with several other A-list guests and a source claiming Brady requested the seating arrangement.
“He asked to switch seats to sit next to her at dinner,” the source told Page Six, adding that the two continued to spend time together in Ibiza after the two-day yacht trip.
Brady was previously linked to several models since he and his ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, divorced in October 2022. Vergara was previously married to actor Joe Manganiello until their divorce last year.
Brady is the NFL's all-time passing leader for yards and touchdowns, as well as quarterback wins, among numerous other records and his seven Super Bowl championship victories -- having won six with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers -- are more than any other NFL player or team. The San Mateo native is currently a minority owner of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders, the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces and the English soccer club Birmingham City F.C., as well as FOX Sports' No. 1 NFL in-game analyst as part of a record-setting 10-year, $375 million deal.
