In a chilling story out of Illinois, authorities are on the hunt for a murder suspect previously seen roaming around a neighborhood in a clown costume. According to a local media report, the unsettling incident came to light on Monday night when police in the city of East St. Louis were alerted to a body found in a road. What would likely have been an unfortunate but routine homicide case soon turned strange when cops on the scene began their investigation and, in speaking to neighbors, learned that someone dressed as a creepy clown had been wandering around the area in a worrisome fashion earlier in the evening.
