Florida Man Accused Of Killing Pro-Trump Boss Over Political Disagreement

Mason Trever Toney, 28

A Florida man is accused of killing his boss after getting into a political argument. Police said that Mason Trever Toney, 28, stabbed and killed 28-year-old William Steven Knight while working a construction job on the Florida Turnpike.

Toney, who has strong anti-government views and believes the government is out to get him, reportedly got into a fight with Knight, who is a supporter of President Donald Trump, at the worksite. Officials said that Toney struck him with a trowel and then placed a brand new American flag over his body. Toney then stole a white pickup truck and fled the scene before officers arrived. He reportedly called his co-workers "terrorists" as he drove away.

It didn't take long for deputies to track down the stolen truck. Toney tried to evade capture but was taken into custody after he crashed the vehicle. He is facing murder charges and he is being held without bond.
