Investigation Underway Into Cause Of NYC Blackout

Section of Midtown And Upper West Side Of Manhattan Loses Power

Con Edison says it could take weeks to find out the cause of a massive power outage in New York City that left more than 70-thousand customers in the dark on Saturday. The utility had crews out on Sunday investigating, but there has been no word on a possible cause at this point. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said it was not the result of an act of terrorism, excessive electrical use or a cyber attack.
