Negotiations Over Second Coronavirus Relief Bill Continue On The Hill

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says Republicans and Democrats remain far apart on a number of issues, but they are "finally moving in the right direction" with additional coronavirus relief.

Speaking on the Senate floor, the New York Democrat said Republicans do not seem to appreciate the gravity of the situation. Schumer said the coronavirus outbreak has washed over this country like a great flood and "Republicans are acting like we need to fix a leaky faucet."

He added that Republicans are not yet awake to the enormity of the challenge with bold legislation.
