NBC News confirms the wife of drug kingpin El Chapo will plead guilty to helping him run his Mexican drug cartel.
Emma Coronel Aispuro was arrested in February at Dulles Airport in Virginia, near Washington, DC. She's being charged with helping her husband's drug empire import tons of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamines, and marijuana into the U.S.
She's also blamed for helping him escape from a prison in Mexico.
Tomorrow morning, she will appear by video to enter her plea deal.
Her husband Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman was convicted on a number of drug trafficking-related charges and is serving a life sentence.
