A Manhattan jury is now deliberating the charges against former President Donald Trump for allegedly violating campaign finance laws back in 2016.
Trump blasted the trial at the courthouse Wednesday after the presiding judge instructed the jury on how to assess the evidence.
“Mother Theresa could not beat these charges. The whole thing is rigged. The whole country is a mess,” said Trump.
“The judge is so conflicted he can’t do his job. It’s a disgrace. I mean that, Mother Theresa could not beat these charges, but we’ll see. We’ll see how we do,” he added. “Every legal scholar said this case should never have been brought. It’s all brought by Joe Biden.”
